The archive

Breakbone's own published record, 2024 to 2026: the issues, the interviews, the gig reviews, the first edition of this history.

Named witnesses

The people who were there, on the record, in their own words, from the filmed scene documentaries and direct interviews.

The public record

Independently published sources where the era predates the scene's own memory: Andrew Stafford's Pig City, the CCC reports, 4ZZZ's own archives, dated listings and press.

Community submissions

Memories handed in through the form by the people who lived them, used with their consent, credited the way they asked.

Where the record disagrees with itself

It is kept both ways and flagged, never quietly resolved. The whole point is to be more right than the rumours, and to say so plainly when it cannot be sure.
